Last Year Camelback had a Gaper Rail-Jam. Well we are doing that again, but turning the whole thing into Gaper Day!!! Come show up in your gnarliest gear of times past.

What’s up everyone! Well I got a chance to start my season. After a couple weeks of being open i figured it was time for me to get the board out of the bag and shred. I cant remember what day it was (they’re blurring together), but it was snowing which made for some great slashing. Marjie’s was primed, as were Nile and park. The terrain park crew has been killin’ it with their set ups this year. The mountain has slowly been getting more and more traffic as we head into the week. You may think its all marketing and PR fluff, but the conditions in my opinion have been getting better. The crew has been leaving more trails un-groomed and conditions with more snow. Today Upper Cleo, Sphinx and Rocket were all left un-groomed after being hit up with snowmaking the night before. Rhodo is looking good too. The guys built a 35′, 45′ and 50′ jumps in our rhythm line. I know that you know that we are going to be busy this weekend, but don’t let that deter you from coming up for a day. Like any resort there are always the secrets and specific times to avoid crowds. You all know the scoop as well as i do.

Make sure you come skiing, and visit loved ones this holiday season!

Well, the Terrain Park is in full swing here at Camelback. The guys have been hard at work putting in new features and jib for all the park rats to slash around on. As of the 17th, the total feature count in the park is 19. There is something for everyone to have fun on. Make sure you plan to get up here soon, and don’t forget to buy your tickets online.

Opening Day!

Whats going on Everyone? If you’re stuck somewhere behind a desk, please don’t read any further. What a beautiful day! Last night we got a nice little dusting which only added to the amazing conditions of today. The snow is pack powder in most spots, and a little layer of powder in others. Makes for some nice slashing if you ask me. Marjies and Rocket are killer! The boys in the Terrain Park have been shaping away at all the features to keep them nice and fresh. This is what winter is all about. We will have even more trails and lifts running this weekend. Ill make sure to post the trail count for this weekend as soon as I know. Hope everyone gets a chance to come and sample the snow. Enjoy the rest of the week everyone.

Terrain Parks and Pipes

The Glen Park

$10.00 10-11 Terrain Park Pass are available for pick up at the CBK Lodge after you watch the Smart Style Video and fill out a release form.

You can get your park pass at CBK Lodge whenever the Mountain is open!

Camelback’s new evolution of terrain parks is now 20 acres with 500 feet of vertical and more than 2500 feet from top to bottom in the new “Glen Park.” The new park will be serviced by its own chairlift, the Glen Chair. The new park consists of six trails with an all-new snowmaking system consisting of Turbocristal Fan Guns, HKD, and Turbo Crystal LP high-efficiency guns.

Vertical: 800 feet

The Glen Terrain Park:

The Glen Park will be accessible with a Park Pass only. Park Passes are $10.00 per pass.
Camelback will also be adding a new Progression Park at the bottom of the Bailey Trail, with access off of the Meadows Trail. This new park will be designed and used for teaching terrain park-specific lessons as well as training our snowboard team. This new park is designed after the Burton LTR Progressive Parks program. This new park will be a great way for skiers and riders to practice new tricks or learn new skills in the parks.

Halfpipe:

A 300-foot-long, 14-foot-high walled halfpipe on Oak Grove. Pipe is groomed regularly by our Zaugg pipe groomer from Switzerland.

Burton Learn To Ride Program:

Camelback offers lessons in the terrain parks and halfpipes. Learn to ride at Camelback by taking a lesson with one of our fully certified instructors. Classes are available, for all ability levels, from beginners to advanced riders. More information is available on our Adult Lessons page.

Camelback Mountain Resort is an official Burton Learn To Ride Center, with more than 1,200 Burton snowboards that include adult-, child-, woman-specific boards, boots, and bindings. Camelback will also be offering freestyle boards this season. Click here for more information.
